Birthdays. I never have enough cards for those occasions, do you? so I made two more.

I am a little late sharing this card...... sorry about that ;) This one uses "Just Sayin' " and "Sending You Sunshine"

 
 
The little banners come from the Sunshine set and the background stamp (in white ink) and the word bubble (SO CUTE!) come from "Just Sayin'." Two more favorites of mine from TCM. Nina Brackett is once again the designer of these amazing stamps.

Alright, so that was for yesterday (sorry for those of you who came by and didn't see my post up) :(

For today...... a totally fun and cute set designed by Michelle Bertuzzi called "It's a Shore Thing"..... I used the little tag and sentiment from the set.

And that awesomely cute little fairy comes from this set released last month. How I love her! :)

 

So...... like the last two days..... you hop around to all the DT blogs, say something um... nice?... I suppose so ;) .......... and then you will be entered into a drawing for "It's a Shore Thing." Sounds good?

I have sad, heartbreaking news.

My brother, who got married last week, took the camera (the DSLR) with him.

And it's gone to stay permanently with him and his wife.

ok anyways..... today's card (photo taken with point-and-shoot)  ...... is created with a beautiful stamp set by Nina Brackett for The Craft's Meow. Gorgeous, Timeless Tags. I used three of them on this card....

I'll be quick today. I have some DT work and graphic design jobs that are waiting on me. For today, a card I made with a beautiful stamp set by my friend Miss Nina Brackett ...... I've joined the team at The Craft's Meow (blog here) and love my fellow DT members tons! They are so much fun! :)

Beautiful butterflies. I love the stamps Nina creates!! and I will have a lot more of them to share in the days ahead.

I made the little birdy nest from brown twine, and tucked these eggs inside. The satin bird can be found here. Patterned paper by Webster's pages ...

~ may flowers ~

Hello y'all! I took a much needed blogging break, and put my etsy shoppe in vacation mode for the past week or so as our family celebrated the week-end wedding of my fourth-oldest brother. I'm thankful for the short break as I felt the need to focus on this joyous occasion ... including all the dresses, decorations, photography, and just soaking in the blessings of God.

I won't lie; I still struggle when it comes to making cards for men. But this stamp set makes it just a little bit more simple to ease yourself into that little niche... hope it will help you too.

and the ribbons from MemrieMare -- the sparkly maple leaf from Little Red Cottage -- and twine.

This card (my favorite shade of blue!) uses these stamps and these creative scraps. The paper is by Prima if I'm not wrong. (love that expression on the little child's face!) :)

Hello Peeps... I'm here, all excited today. This coming weekend, we get to celebrate MOTHER'S DAY!! That's awesome isn't it? I love my mom! :) Here's her life story in a nutshell:

- Engaged at 18 - Married at 20 - 10 children born to her and Daddy in the next 20 years -

Of course that is not ALL she did, but that's all you need to know about her :) ... she is the most generous, warm hearted and special person I know.

 
Today I got a delicious, delicious bundle from Crafty Secrets... yummo!!! I was supposed to be working on stuff for the brother's wedding, but I promptly threw them down and dove into these goodies (what would you have done if you were me?)

First I cut one A4 sheet of cardstock into four pieces and joined them at the spine using strong adhesive. If you score about 2cm in from the spine, the book opens nicely without any resistance.

And then I had the best fun using the Love you Mother stamp set and Creative Scraps and Journal Notes ...

 
 

(whazzup with those fuzzy spots over these photos? I have no clue. Grrr.)

 Anywho, those are the inner pages of the little card book for Mom. little pockets tucked inside for us kiddoes to write notes for her.

And guess what, I was so absorbed in doing the book that I didn't hear her come into the room... and then I heard "Ooooh is that for me??" Hahaha. Can't ever keep secrets from Mom!

Now the little book is all ready for us to fill in and give to Mom. I hope every one of you will have the best Mother's day yourself. I know many of you are mothers yourselves. What would we ever do without Moms?? And some day I hope I will be one myself, and one just as good as my own.

That's it from me for today. I hope to be back by the weekend, but if not, you'll know I'm busy doing something else :) .. working on the wreath for the wedding now... maybe I'll show you a picture when I'm done.

~ A Guy Thing ~

Happy May day! Clear and Simple stamps are releasing THE cutest masculine stamp set this month here.  
I stared at it and wrinkled my face and was about to howl because I couldn't figure out what to do to make a man's card. Then I thought HEY let's make a girly card using the stamps!

             

That's the "happy birthday" stamp, with just a little different twist.

Thank you Rosa for the beautiful crochet trim! :o)

 I stamped the green frames for those buttons on the tags using the moustache stamps ;o) 

 And that's my girl's card using guy stamps. So much more fun!

And of course as it was "a guy thing" set, I felt a heavy responsibility to make some kind of a man's card.

 
Ties = man's accessory.. check.

Roses. uggh. why did I do that.

Yup I think moths are a man's thing, because I run and scream when I see one.

 
... here it is in full. I couldn't get it any less frilly. Sigh, I have so much to improve on!
