It's so hard to believe that one month from the new year is already over! I am young, yes, but I already have learned that time FLIES!
well... I have a little peek for you, of what I've created for the CSS february release. Again, I have to say that the girls at CSS were so very kind to invite me to join the team. You know, young ladies like me can be kind of, ahem, less than responsible :) so it was quite an amazing thing for them to have the confidence they did in my ability ... and well, I have already been not-so-punctual in some of my submissions, but even their reminders were so kind! :) thank you Nicki and Reenee!
ok, this is really corny. but since I did it anyway, what have I to lose by sharing it? :) and this is not the real sneak peek; I don't think CSS would think much of clothespin-people. but I love how their mouths always seem to be open :) ...
ok, if you really think it's DUMB, just tell me so and it won't be repeated in the future :) but... anyway, that's your peek at the project i have to share tomorrow with CSS's new stamp for the month!
... oh, and a few photos of the "red gifts" that I mentioned yesterday... for my two sisters' birthdays:
the felt cut with PTI dies make the cutest, sweetest lil flowers... I used them to adorn a pocket-bag, stitched up, and of course inspired from this... glassine baggie insert and all...
this little pocket is from my daddy to his "big girl" as he calls my oldest sister :) ... he got her a beautiful, dark red cover for her blackberry... and asked me to wrap it up. When he came in and saw me working on it, he said: "so sweeet!" and pinched my cheek... I guess he still thinks I'm his baby girl ;) ...
here's the finished gift... I'm glad she liked it, and she says the wrapper can be reused for some gift she'll send to her friend :)
.. and this is for my other red-lovin' sister, a gift from the one who got the blackberry cover (as you can tell, I am by default the gift-maker/wrapper in my family) ... The M&M dispenser is pretty silly to me, but the birthday girl loved it (and she's older than me by two years!) :D
things I added: the felt blossom to the pirate's hat (they honestly look ridiculous together)... the buttons at his/her feet, and the trim around the can...
until tomorrow...
miss vio
p.s. a few more... of the clothespin brother and his bossy sister :)
You make me smile Viola!!! : )

Too funny; this post made me smile. And the gift wrapping for your sitsters' blackberry is gorgeous. The M&M's dispenser is cute but the other one is definitely my favorite!
